While it's definitely not perfect, I think it blends together fairly well. Once the paint is fully dry, I'm going to see how shiny it looks.

This part was fairly straightforward, and as you can see, the pieces came together easily & fairly nicely.

...the paint washes were beginning to gunk up into thick sections in places & I wanted to nip that in the bud before it got to be too heavy.
